Frequently asked questions
From pricing to platform integrations, setup to multi-branch management — the most asked questions in one place. For the full story, each section links to its own page.
Pricing
View pageWhat determines restaurant POS pricing?
Branch count and module scope. At Dasvio, Starter is $49/mo for a single location, Pro is $129/mo for 2-10 branches, and Enterprise pricing for 10+ branch chains is tailored to the operation. QR menu and POS are included in every plan.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes — annual billing gives you 2 months free, so you pay for 10 months and use 12.
Are there setup or hardware fees?
No hidden setup fees. Dasvio works with your existing tablets and printers; no proprietary hardware is required. Onboarding and menu migration are done together with the support team.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, there is no commitment. Monthly plans can be cancelled at the end of the period, and your data is exported on request.
Is the demo free?
Yes. The 30-minute live demo is free and no card is required — the team walks through a sample setup with your menu and answers questions.
QR Menu
View pageHow do I create a QR menu?
Add your categories and items from the dashboard, or import your existing POS menu step by step; table QR codes are generated automatically — print them and put them on the tables. Updates reach the menu instantly, no reprinting.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. Scanning the QR opens the menu straight in the phone's browser — no app, no account, no sign-up.
How many languages can the menu be translated into?
14, with AI translation. The menu opens in the guest's phone language automatically, and the guest can switch languages by hand. Translations stay in sync as you edit the menu.
Can guests order from the table?
Yes. Every table has its own QR; the guest builds a cart and sends the order, and it lands in the POS and the kitchen in real time — no server needs to step in.
How much does the QR menu cost?
The QR menu is included in every Dasvio plan; plans start at $49/mo for a single location. There is no separate QR menu subscription and no per-table fee.
Restaurant POS System
View pageWhat is a restaurant POS system?
The software that runs tables, orders and bills digitally. Dasvio POS covers opening a table, taking the order, printing to the kitchen, splitting the bill and closing the till in one dashboard — everything the paper pad did, without losing a line and fully reportable.
Which hardware does Dasvio POS work with?
Every major hardware brand. It runs on Android tablets and terminals; receipt and kitchen printers pair by scanning a QR in seconds. There is no proprietary hardware requirement — start with the devices you already own.
Does it keep selling if the internet drops?
Yes. Dasvio POS keeps selling in offline mode or over GSM; when the connection returns, every ticket and report syncs automatically. Not a single sale is lost.
How much does a restaurant POS cost?
Dasvio plans start at $49/mo for single-location businesses; Pro is $129/mo for 2-10 branches. Every plan is listed transparently on the pricing page — there are no hidden setup fees.
How long does setup take?
Adding a device takes as long as scanning a QR; with menu migration and staff training included, the average business goes live in 14 days, with the support team alongside throughout.
How many branches can I run on it?
The same dashboard runs a single location and 1,300-branch chains. For multi-branch operations, the central master menu, per-branch pricing and consolidated reporting take over.
Multi-Branch Management
View pageHow does it work for restaurant chains?
Menus, prices and campaigns are managed centrally on one master; changes roll out to the branch groups you pick, in stages. What every branch sees, what price it charges and where it diverges from the master is tracked from one dashboard.
Can I set a different price per branch?
Yes, two ways: group branches into regional price tiers (airport, mall, high street) and let the tier set the price, or override a single product's price at a single branch without touching the master. Every override is on record.
What is central menu management?
Running every branch's menu from one source: products, variants, prices and imagery are edited once on the master menu, and branches define their local differences (price, availability) on top of it. Adding a product no longer means visiting branches one by one.
What can franchise branches change?
That is what branch policies decide: which branch may override prices, its discount ceiling and comp authority are defined centrally. What a franchisee is free to change — and what they cannot touch — stays in your control.
How long does opening a new branch take?
An existing branch's whole structure — menu, printer routing, permissions — clones to the new one in seconds. The new location runs in sync with the rest of the chain the same day.
Platform Integrations
View pageHow does the Yemeksepeti integration work?
Yemeksepeti orders land straight in the Dasvio dashboard and on the kitchen printer — no separate tablet to watch. Menu, price and stock changes sync from the dashboard back to Yemeksepeti, and you open or close the restaurant with one toggle.
Is there a Getir integration?
Yes. Getir orders flow into the same order list as every other channel, route to the kitchen automatically and report by channel at the end of the day. You can update prep times from the dashboard during a rush.
How are Trendyol orders and claims handled?
Orders collect in one dashboard; you approve or reject Trendyol claims (refund/dispute requests) from the inbox inside Dasvio, and reply to platform reviews from the same place.
Is Migros Yemek supported?
Yes. You map your catalogue once; products, prices and availability stay in sync across every connected platform, Migros Yemek included.
Can I run different prices per platform?
Yes. To cover platform commissions, you manage Getir, Trendyol, Yemeksepeti and dine-in prices separately in one sheet view; per-platform margin is calculated automatically.
Do integrations cost extra?
The Starter plan includes one platform integration; Pro and above include them all. There is no per-order integration fee.
Fast food & QSR
View pageWhat should a fast-food POS do differently?
Three things matter in QSR: speed at the till, combo logic that never breaks, and every platform order in one place. Dasvio POS ships a fast-sale screen, unbreakable combo maths and a Getir/Trendyol/Yemeksepeti inbox in one package.
Are self-order kiosks supported?
Yes. Kiosk orders land in the same kitchen flow as the counter POS and platform orders; upsell prompts raise the average basket without leaning on the cashier.
How are platform orders handled at peak?
Every aggregator order collects in one inbox and routes to the kitchen display automatically — tablet-watching and double entry disappear. During a rush you push prep times to all platforms from one place.
Does drive-thru need a separate system?
No. Speaker-board orders enter the same POS flow and the customer display shows the order summary instantly. There is no separate drive-thru licence to buy.
Cloud kitchens
View pageWhat should cloud kitchen software do?
Three things: collect every platform order in one inbox, run multiple virtual brands from the same kitchen, and report revenue per brand. Dasvio does all three in one dashboard — without carrying anything you'd pay a dine-in POS for.
How many virtual brands can one kitchen run?
There is no limit; operators typically run 6+ brands off the same prep line. Orders route automatically by brand and station, and tickets print with the right brand identity.
Can I see platform commissions per brand?
Yes. Each virtual brand's revenue reports separately, with per-platform commission and margin — you see which brand makes money on which platform without waiting for the day's end.
Is setup different without a dining room?
Simpler: there is no floor plan or table flow, so setup is menu mapping and platform connection. Operating hours, busy mode and courier status are managed from the operator's phone.
